-! Привіт!   Як справи ? - Привіт!   Як життя?  - Привіт! Як справи? - Привіт! Як ти? - Привіт! Як воно?  - Привіт! Як життя? - Не бвчив тебе вічність.

Відповісти на вітання та питання про те, як справи, можна різними способами. Ось деякі з них:

Very well, thank you.   Pretty good, thanks.   I am all right, thank you / I am fine, thanks. I'm doing great, what about you? / I am just great, and you? Never better. So-so.   It’s cool.

- Дуже добре дякую.  - Досить добре, дякую. - Я в порядку, дякую - У мене все чудово, а в тебе?   - Як ніколи краще. - Так собі. - Круто.

Діалог.  Dialogue 1.   After Summer  Holidays.

In the School Yard.  Ira and Oksana have come back to school.

Ira: Hey, Oksana!  Haven’t seen you for ages. How are you doing?

Oksana: Hi, Ira!  I am just great. I am glad to come back to school. And how are you?

Ira:  Never better. So how was your holiday?

Oksana: It was amazing (дивовижний). Thanks for asking. How was your holiday?

Ira:  That was great too. So, what did you do on this holiday?

Oksana: I went to visit my grandparents in  the village  (село) and I have spent a week there.

Ira:  Oh, was the fun?

Oksana: Yes, it was a lot of fun.  I have lots of cousins there.  Everyone came to meet with me and my family.  And we spent time together.

Ira: Wow, this is so cool. Oh, Look! There are some guys over there. Let’s go and greet them.

Oksana: OK! Come on!
